JV2 2013

2013

Tomorrow was presented during the debut tour of JV2, a vibrant and fresh new group of ten young international dancers, hand-picked by Artistic Director Jasmin Vardimon.

PREMIERED: 19 March 2013 at The Gulbenkian, Canterbury

Showcasing the performing talent of the future, this triple bill staged three new works. Former JVC dancer Mafalda Deville creates athletically challenging work with an alluring visual style. Fellow JVC dancer Tim Casson presents an intricate new piece inspired by the music processes of American Folktronica duo, ‘The Books’ and aims to capture the spirit of their distinctive sound. Award-winning choreographer Jasmin Vardimon identifies scenes from her celebrated repertoire, transforming favourite moments from Park, Justitia, 7734 and Yesterday into a new experience.
