ALiCE

Premiere 2022 - touring now

'Vardimon’s choreography is genius. Innovative and original'

Everything Theatre

A re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland, ALiCE tells the story of a woman, or perhaps a child, unsure of her identity and where she is going. Escaping or exploring, discovering the powers within her changing body. The world around her is different, curious, and compelling – at times absolutely bonkers!

'Brilliant cast'

The Reviews Hub / 29 October 2022

'Jasmin Vardimon’s latest interpretation, arriving at Sadler’s Wells for two nights, is a bleak and bizarre experience, following a version of Alice who may be an innocent girl searching for Wonderland or equally someone developing her adult body and navigating the treacherous path to womanhood through a series of decisive experiences. One thing is certain, nothing is what is seems.'

Everything Theatre / 31 October 2022

'This piece is true dance theatre. It straddles both forms but loses nothing from either. It is rare that dance, being rehearsed to the fraction of a second, can feel as embodied and alive as it does in this performance.'
