Alistair Spalding CBE — Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Salder's Wells

Alistair Spalding CBE has been the Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Sadler’s Wells theatre since 2004 and has been responsible for programming at the theatre since February 2000. In 2005 Alistair announced his vision for Sadler’s Wells to become a producing house, and has since driven the commissioning, producing and co-producing of more than 130 shows including more than half of Jasmin’s works, most recently to include Medusa. Alistair also created the position of Associate Artist to the theatre. Sadler’s Wells now supports 16 Associate Artists including Jasmin Vardimon since 2006. He was appointed his CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2012 for services to dance.
