Jasmin Vardimon Company are seeking technical crew to tour in Spring 2020

The dates for availability for all roles would be from the 6-12th April 2020 Taiwan and 12th July to 2nd August mainland China
There will also be an availability for a few days of UK rehearsals dates TBC
The fee is a fixed weekly rate of £550 and per diems at £20
Interviews to be held in London on Monday 16th December 2019
All accommodation and travel are covered.

Stage Technician – Pinocchio International Tour 2020

We are looking for a stage technician with rigging and flying experience, for an Asia tour (Taiwan and Mainland China)
The show has 3 flying systems and the majority of the set is flown.
• Kirby’s bridle-less track system.
• Two pulley, steel wire, human counterweight system
• Human marionette system (2 performers and 2 performer/operators)

The role would oversee and participate in the installation of all flying system and assisted operation of the Kirby’s track during the show, at each venue along with the installation of all set items.
As show involves aerial flying of dancers and set a good knowledge of flying systems and a responsible working practice, is important. The role will involve constant liaison with local crew to assist in the fit up.
The technical team is made up of 4 people on the road with the show, a good all-round technical knowledge is necessary.
The Stage technician will assist other members of the team in LX and or sound/AV where needed. This role will be physically demanding so a good level of fitness is required. The ideal candidate will have tour experience of theatre/dance shows in mid to large scale venues and have good experience of rigging/flying in a range of venues.

Relighter – Pinocchio International Tour 2020

Jasmin Vardimon Company has a reputation for producing visually stunning and narrative driven contemporary dance theatre.
The Company are seeking to appoint a re-lighter to work on Jasmin Vardimon’s Pinocchio. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience of touring with large/mid-scale dance or theatre shows and a good all-round technical knowledge with a focus on LX.
The role would oversee and participate in the installation of all lighting where not pre rigged and focusing. The initial phase of the get in is a team effort and all members of the technical team are expected to help with load in and fit up. The role will involve constant liaison with local crew to assist in the fit up.
The technical team is made up of 4 people on the road with the show, a good all-round technical knowledge is necessary.

Sound and AV Technician – Pinocchio International Tour 2020

Jasmin Vardimon Company has a reputation for producing visually stunning and narrative driven contemporary dance theatre.
The Company is seeking to appoint a touring Sound/AV Technician to work on Jasmin Vardimon’s latest creation Medusa and current touring repertoire work Pinocchio.
The ideal technician will have at least 3 years’ experience of touring with large/mid-scale dance or theatre shows and a good knowledge of all aspects of Sound and Audio Visuals.
The technician will be required to set up and install all touring sound and AV equipment, be able to EQ tracks with Artistic Director or Rehearsal Director to get the best out of them for each venue and run the sound and AV for each performance. The company tours a Yamaha LS9 16ch sound desk. The show is run on QLab. Working experience and problem-solving capability with both the desk and QLab is essential. Video is used from a single projector and mapping is done on Isadora so good working experience of this software is also essential.
The shows will have tight turn arounds therefore the Sound/AV technician will assist the Technical Manager and technical team during the fit ups and get outs. A flexible and self-motivated approach to work is key, as well as good technical problem solving across all departments.
