As the Jasmin Vardimon Company is preparing to move into its new, bespoke, state of the art creative complex in Ashford we are recruiting for a new role of Communications Manager. The post holder will join the company at an exciting time of significant expansion and work to develop the public profile, awareness and understanding of the JVC programmes and offers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, coupled with experience of Marketing, Social Media and Communications strategies and a commitment to developing new audiences, to join JVC and contribute to its future. We are particularly interested in applicants with a knowledge and background in innovative copywriting for online platforms, to support the ever-changing landscape of the digital world.

Operationally the Communications Manager will work closely with both the General Manager and Head of Learning and Participation and strategically with   Artistic and Executive Directors in delivering a comprehensive and innovative approach to the productions, courses and new building.

The Jasmin Vardimon Company is an artist lead organisation that has toured nationally and internationally for over 20 years. We were successful in securing a site and funding to build a new creative complex opening in the early part of 2021 to provide the company with a permanent home for us and for other independent artists and companies.
