An exciting opportunity for a creative and dynamic arts education programme leader with a dance background. Since relocating to Kent in 2012, the company has established itself within the regional community, working across a number of platforms and delivering programmes to a wide range of groups and organisations.
Co-incident with the move was the formulation, in 2012, of the Jasmin Vardimon Education Company which has as a part of its core aims the provision of training courses for aspiring professional dancers (JV2) latterly expanding the opportunity to young Choreographers.
In addition to leading the Learning and Participation programme the post holder will oversee the administration of the already extensive Talent Development Training Programme and will play a significant role in shaping the company’s future as it moves into its new home during 2020.
As a key member of the Senior Management team the post holder will lead on shaping and implementing the education vision as set out by the founder and Artistic Director Jasmin Vardimon and will work alongside the yet to be appointment Talent Development Director. Operationally the Head of Learning and Participation oversees all aspects of all JVEC activity, at a pivotal moment in the company’s history.
Salary: £36,000 rising to £40,000 once the company relocates to its new building (2020) and enters into the next, exciting phase of its development.
