BIG DANCE 2010 - Launch Event
Jasmin Vardimon Company performers will be representing Sadler's Wells at the launch of Big Dance 2010 this week, held at Spitalfields London. Performers Mafalda Deville and Luke Burrough will perform a short extract from the company's sell-out success, YESTERDAY.
The ultimate London dance experience, Big Dance is a biennial pan-London celebration of dance and dancing with 9 days of dance events in unusual places throughout the city - shops, parks, galleries and museums - showcasing the diversity of dance styles and cultural attractions across the capital.
Big Dance aims to encourage people to 'get into dance, increase fitness levels and generate a legacy of dance for all.
Most importantly everyone is invited to join in!
Big Dance will promote London as a world-class centre for high quality dance to an international audience and the aim is that thousands of people will be inspired to make dance a part of their lives beyond 2012 - already 8 million people have been touched by Big Dance.
Big Dance takes place from 3 - 11 July 2010.
