Libby Worth joins the Creative Minds Symposium

4 October 2017

Dr Libby Worth joins our panel of leading thinkers, contemporary philosophers and creative minds at Sadler’s Wells on Saturday 28 October.

Libby’s research focuses on the multiple relationships between dance and theatre texts and the many ways that movement engages with and can expand texts, whether these are scores for performance or written plays. She has published in this area on practitioners such as Anna Halprin (choreographer and dancer), Jenny Kemp (playwright and director) and on the collaborations between Caryl Churchill and choreographer Ian Spink. Most recently, Libby has written a book in close collaboration with Jasmin Vardimon on the processes Jasmin employs to create dance theatre performances.

The Creative Minds Symposium brings together a panel of leading thinkers, contemporary philosophers and creative minds at Sadler’s Wells on Saturday 28 October, to analyse, respond and debate a shared moment of performance – Jasmin Vardimon’s critically acclaimed production of Pinocchio.

The event is free but will be ticketed. Book by emailing admin@jasminvardimon.com or by calling 01233 628545.
